Does it cost anything to use the site?
-As a teacher, posting your profile and schedule are completely free. Students can browse the site and message teachers (after logging in) for free. A small 5% fee is collected, to cover the Paypal and administrative fees, if a student books a session through the site.
Is there anything to prevent a student and teacher from booking outside of the site to avoid the fee?
-Other than Karma…not really. Our fee’s are so small, on an average transaction it will only be a couple of dollars, which will give both students and teachers peace of mind to have a mediator between them in case any disputes arise.
What if I want to cancel after booking a session?
-No problem, there are free cancelations if more than 24 hours before your scheduled session. Remember, tutors are setting aside their time to be available to meet with you. If you need to cancel within 24 hours of your session, please contact your tutor directly.
